The one-dimensional view of many so called German democrats

It is incredible: Some Germans who call themselves democrats are so wise about politics:
„Ob Extrem Links oder Extrem Rechts, beides gleich schlimm.“
in English: „Extreme left is just as bad as extreme right.“

Oh yeah and
extreme deep is just as bad as extreme high,
extreme dark is just as bad as extreme light,
extreme loud is just as bad as extreme silent,
extreme thick is just as bad as extreme thin,
extreme wide is just as bad as extreme narrow,
extreme hot is just as bad as extreme cold,
extreme female is just as bad as extreme male,
extreme house is just as bad as extreme hut,
extreme stupid is just as bad as extreme clever?

Some person’s mind never get beyond the age of 12…

  3. Oh, but you got beyond the age of 12? Your comparisons imply you didn’t.
    Of course, „extreme thick is just as bad as extreme thin“ while extreme stupid is worse than extreme clever… Such simple comparisons don’t seem to work for this topic.

    Moreover, extreme communist systems have killed people as well as extreme national socialist systems did, while nowadays german right-wing extremists sometimes kill people and german left-wing extremists don’t (as far as I heard of it).

    Got my point? It’s not as easy to describe as you wrote and it’s not as easy as the politicians say.

    Sry, I am not sure whether I got your point. Maybe you can explain what do you think why I made such simple comparisons? Because my mind did not get beyond the age of 12!?
    And can you also explain why extreme thick is just as bad as extreme thin?

  5. If I knew why you made such simple comparisons, I wouldn’t wonder why you did…
    And if I understand this „extreme thick is just as bad as extreme thin“ right, I’d say it’s both unhealthy.
    All in all, that’s not a good base for a reasonable discussion.
